Irina Dorofeeva was born in Mogilev. Her solo career started when she was twelve. Irina performed in the Mogilev vocal instrumental ensemble “Rainbow” under N. Bordunova.

In 1989, she won the I Republican Young Performers Contest.

In 1994, after her victory in the “Molodechno” Festival of the Belarusian Song and Poetry, she became a soloist of the “Verasy” ensemble under Vasily Rainchik.

Between 1997 and 1999, Irina was a soloist of the State Concert Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under Mikhail Finberg.

She performed on Red Square on the occasion of 850th Anniversary of Moscow, in the celebration of the Days of Minsk, and in concerts and recitals.

In 1998, she widened her repertoire to include jazz compositions and performed with A. Eskin’s jazz trio at the V International Jazz Music Festival “Minsk-98” and in the jazz panorama of “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”.

Her solo program “My Love” (1999) was presented in the “Minsk” Concert Hall.

In 1998 and 1999, Irina Dorofeeva was a prizewinner of five music contests: “Golden Shlyager”, “Vilnius-98”, “Vilnius -99”, “Discovery-99” in Bulgaria, “Vitebsk-99” at the festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”, and the contest of Ukrainian Pop Song after V. Ivasyuk in Kiev.

In 2001 and 2002, “Irina Dorofeeva Song Theatre”, headed by Yu.Savosh, gave 435 concerts in the cities of the country in format of the social and humanitarian program “Energy of new generation of young Belarus in the new century”. The concerts, of which 170 were charity ones, were attended by about 1.5 million people.

The year of 2004 launched the annual tours “Under Peaceful Sky” of the theatre.

In 2001 and 2002, concert shows with the State Dance Ensemble of Belarus and E.Pavlina’s group “Stars of Gymnastics” were produced.

Her concert program “Kahanachka” (“Beloved”) (2003), marking 10 years of artistic career, was presented in the Palace of the Republic.

Between 2004 and 2005, Irina Dorofeeva as a soloist and concert show presenter performed in 25 cities of Belarus with the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under V.Babarikin.

In 2005 and 2006, Irina went on tour with the band “Dali”.

On June 24, 2007, she organized a show “Kupalie of Irina Dorofeeva: festival of elements” at Mir Castle. The show was attended by the Head of State and over 120 000 people.

In 2007, she prepared a new concert program “Christmas in the Circle of Friends”.

In 2008, Irina won the Grand Prix of the festival “Songs of United Europe” (Zelena Gura, Poland).

She is a prizewinner of the Republican Literary Contest “Best Composition of 2008” in singing for the performance of songs dedicated to the Year of the Native Land.

In 2009 and 2010, Irina gave concerts “By Victory Roads”, marking the 65th Anniversary of Belarusian liberation and 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Irina Dorofeeva was a presenter in the “Big Breakfast”, “Planet of Entertainments” shows and the TV journal “Soyuz”.

She is a recipient of a Medal “For Collaboration” of the Belarus-Russia Union State, and a Diploma of the Permanent Committee of the Union State for her personal contribution into the development of national cultures of Belarus and Russia.

She is a winner of the National Music TV Award in the nomination “Tour of the Year” (2009).

Irina Dorofeeva is an experienced jury member. In this capacity she has been invited to international contests and festivals, including the festival “The Sea of Friends” in Yalta.

With the group “Fors-minor”, a prizewinner of the festival “Golden Shlyager-2009” (Mogilev, Belarus), she has more than once represented Belarus in Venezuela, Poland, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

In 2011, the “Minsk” Concert Hall hosted her concert-presentation of a new show “Flight Over Oekumene”, marking the release of the MP3 disk of the same title, including over 130 compositions written in different years and about 50 unpublished song.

Since 2012 Irina Dorofeeva has been the head of the variety art department of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.

At the beginning of 2014, she released a CD “You Can’t But Love Our Land” with the best songs about Belarus recorded during her career. The album has the same name as the tour of Irina Dororfeeva and the group “Fors-minor” and has been recognized as the best album by the III National Award in Variety Art.

In 2014, Irina was the artistic director of the project production of the musical “Dubrovsky” by Kim Breitburg in the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.

Currently, she is working to release her album “Bird of Happiness” with the songs by the young Belarusian songwriters.

Irina Dororfeeva has been participating in the International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” since 1995. She took part in the gala concerts of Masters of Arts of Belarus, press conferences of the Day of Belarus, the Opening Ceremony of the festival and charity events.

In 1997, she performed in the jubilee concert of the State Concert Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under Mikhail Finberg.

Irina Dororfeeva is the first prize winner of the International Pop Song Performers Contest “Vitebsk-1999”.

In 2009, at the Closing Ceremony of the festival she was granted the Award of the Union State for creative implementation of the ideas of friendship of the peoples of Belarus and Russia.

In 2013, Irina Dororfeeva performed on stage of the Summer Amphitheatre in the concert of friendship “The Union State Invites…”
