The participants


Born on January 15, 1986, in the town of Pisek, Michaela studied at Jan Neruda Music Gymnasium (2000-2005). In 2008, she graduated from the Prague Conservatory.

From 2008 to2011, Michaela attended the Institute of Music Art (Bratislava), completed studies at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts (professor: Helena Kaupove).

She's the winner of numerous music festivals, including the International Antonin Dvorak Singing Competition (Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic).

She performed arias in the operas: Violetta (Verdi, “La Traviata”), Pamina (Mozart, “The Magic Flute”), Donna Anna, Zerlina (Mozart “Don Giovanni”), Marguerite (Gounod, “Faust”), Mermaid (Dvorak, “Mermaid”) and others.

In 2014, she played the leading role of Christine Daae in A. L. Webber's “Phantom of the Opera” in Goya Music Hall (Prague, Czech Republic).

Michaela performed solo arias to the accompaniment of symphony orchestras, including the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, the North-Bohemian State Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech Radio Orchestra.

She collaborated with such renowned conductors as A. Lenard, L. Pesek, and others, and appeared on stages in Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Romania, France and other countries.

Michaela has recorded albums for the Czech and Slovak Radio.
