The participants


Dushan was born on June 19, 1990, in Subotica. He graduated from the Music High School. He is currently a student at the faculty of music of the University of Music Art (Belgrade).

Aged 17, he earned his first victory at the festival “Grand Stars” (Belgrade).

In 2007, Dushan became first at the festival “Love and Wine” with the song “Love is God given” by K. Kovacs.

In 2008, he recorded the composition “My son” with composer Kemal Monteno.

In 2009, the singer began collaborating with Kemal Monteno. They have given performances in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia and Russia.

In 2010, Dushan won the Audience Prize at the National Song Festival in Belgrade for the performance of the song “Dunavski testament” by Nikola Grbic.

In 2011, he was awarded for the best lyrics for the song “Who loves, like me?”, written in collaboration with D. Lukovic at the festival “Ohrid Fest” (Macedonia).

In 2013, at the festival “Golden Tamburitsa” (Novi Sad, Serbia) the jury paid special attention to the song “Oh, Karlovci, thank you” by V. Matein-Remini.

Dushan performs as a soloist with the Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, as well as with the big band of the city of Novi Sad.

Together with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Subotica he takes part in concert celebrations of the City Day.
