Aleksey GROSS

Born in Soligorsk, Minsk region, on September 25, 1989, Aleksey finished music school specializing in percussion instruments (1998-2002), the department of vocal studies at the Minsk State College of Arts (2006-2010).

He performed as a member of the Soligorsk Jazz Orchestra.

In 2007, he came third at the Minsk City Festival of Patriotic Song.

In 2009, the singer was awarded a special prize “Nadezhda” (“Hope”) at the Republican Young Pop Singers Contest “BELazovsky Akkord” (Zhodino, Minsk region).

In 2012, Aleksey reached the final of the qualifying round of the International Contest of Young Pop Singers “New Wave”. Since 2012, he’s been collaborating with the “Spamash” producer centre.

The first song “Make it so” was followed by a number of popular compositions that scored highest positions in the hit parades of the national radio stations.

In 2014, 2015, 2016, Aleksey Gross was the finalist of the national selections for “Eurovision”.

The winner of the Belarusian selection round to represent the country at the XXV International Pop Song Performers Contest of the International Festival of Arts “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”.

He’s taken part in various events and television projects, including the presentation of the “Christmas hockey tournament for the prize of the President”, a benefit concert in support of the Charity Fund “Touching Life”, TV programs “Golden Collection of Belarusian music”, “Brain Ring”, “Song of the Year”.

Aleksey Gross cooperates with the Belarusian composer and producer Leonid Shirin and musicians from European countries.

He’s Candidate Master of Sports in freestyle wrestling.
