The Summer Amphitheatre celebrates its 30th anniversary in July. Over these years hundreds of events have been held on the main stage of “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”. The Board of Directors of the festival has announced a special anniversary offer. For two days, 5 and 6 July, only the ticket offices in Vitebsk will be selling the tickets for concerts in the Summer Amphitheatre at a 30% discount!

Eight ticket offices are open in different parts of the city: the Concert Hall “Vitebsk”, Bilevo, the Ice Palace, etc.  

According to the General Director of the Center of Culture “Vitebsk”, Director of the Board of Directors of the festival Alexander Sidorenko, the tickets for the festival film program will be on sale on 5 July. Two feature films will be shown in the Cinema House. On 11July there will be a presentation of a historical drama “The Road to Mother” produced by “Kazakhfilm” Studio. The festival audience are invited to meet with the film director Akan Satayev, the general producer Aliya Nazarbayeva, and other representatives of the large Kazakh delegation at “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”. The film will be shown on the occasion of marking the 20th Anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan-Astana

On 12 July the cinema-goers will have a chance to watch a new film “On the Milky Road” by one of the most talented filmmakers of our time Emir Kusturica, who also stars in the movie. The meeting with Emir Kusturica will take place not only in the Cinema House, which is to host the film presentation, but also in the Summer Amphitheatre, where the artist will perform with the “No Smoking Orchestra”.

Currently, as Alexander Sidorenko noted, the active distribution of tickets for all the projects of “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk” is going on.

Technical groups are working at all festival venues. Experts are mounting the equipment in the Summer Amphitheatre. LED screens are being installed, which will be the main components of the stage design. A new digital mixing console has been purchased with the help of the city and region, and is already being tested by the specialists. This high-quality audio equipment, produced by the British company DiGiCo, meets all modern technical requirements.

Five artists from Moscow and Minsk are working on the creation of the video content for every concert performance.
